ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED
STATE OF ARIZONA
Welcome
Sorors and Amicae,

I am excited to welcome you to the 2025 Arizona State Leadership Conference! This year's theme, "Reclaiming Our Sisterhood: Rebuild, Renew, Rise!" really speaks to where we are right now as an organization.

As I have been thinking about the conference, I kept coming back to something pretty incredible. As a state, we are celebrating over 75 years of service here in Arizona. Seventy-five years! That's generations of women who came before us, paving the way and making a difference in the sorority and their communities. And here we are, continuing that legacy.

I'll be honest. This past year “life has been lifing” for many of us. But that's exactly why a conference like this matters so much. We need this time together. It is an opportunity to look each other in the eye, have those real conversations, connect with one another and remember why we chose this sisterhood in the first place.

When I think about what sisterhood means, it's not just the good times and photos (though I love those too). It's showing up when things get messy. It's having tough conversations with love. It's extending grace when someone stumbles and being brave enough to admit when we've stumbled ourselves.

So, here's what I'm asking you: come ready to be real. Bring your questions, your ideas, even your concerns. Share your story. Listen to others. Let's use the time at the conference to talk about rebuilding, renewing, and making that commitment to do better…one conversation at a time.

We will take care of the business of the state while participating in some amazing workshops. However, the most important work will happen in those moments between sessions, when you have a coffee break, during lunch, or those hallway (or vendor room) conversations where we reconnect as women, as sisters, as friends.

On behalf of the planning team, thank you for making the commitment to being there. I know life is busy, and there are a million other things you could be doing the weekend of November 21st through November 23rd. But your decision to show up for this sisterhood means everything.

I can't wait to see your faces and feel that energy when we're all together again in Tucson. I look forward to welcoming you, celebrating with you and rising with you.

With Sisterly Love,

Thelia Morris
